Very few people know WeCP’s website as well as our web developer Divy Makkar. He is passionate about Web, App Development, and Cloud Computing and is currently pursuing his degree in Computer Science and Engineering at the Manipal University, Jaipur.
Divy joined the WeCP family in the winter of 2020. When he is not coding, he likes to spend his time listening to music or playing sports like basketball or badminton. We spoke to him about his journey, read it in his own words.
Here’s what Divy has to say about his time with WeCP
The unprecedented pandemic in the year 2020 brought a standstill in everyone’s educational pursuit. However, the zeal to continue my ventures as an intern and an engineer propelled me to explore the various online internship-providing websites.
In this journey, I came across WeCP looking for fresh interns on Internshala for Web Developers. I grabbed the opportunity and successfully entered the startup after cracking a virtual interview followed by an assessment task. My expedition took off as a Web Developer for one month, and after that, the shift to the Dev Team was a dream come true for me.
What does Divy’s work-day look like?
My entry in WeCP saw many exciting and interesting tasks to refurbishing the company’s website and working on the assessment platform. Every morning the day began with a scrum meeting at 11:30 a.m. where everyone discusses their daily tasks, followed by a Dev Sync-Up at 2:30 p.m. I always looked forward to the tasks assigned and reaching the finish line within the stipulated time. The graph of my confidence grew higher as my Mentors and Development team encouraged me to step up the ladder.
Highlights of his Internship at WeCP
WeCP works on a very unique concept of conducting screening tests for young professionals. Being a fresh entrant in the Tech World after taking up many tests and assessments working in the skill assessment software zone was an experience in itself. To top it up were the mentors who guided me in the best possible manner whenever I got stuck. The Think Tanks at WeCP made me walk and talk with my Thinking Cap ON 24×7. Something that I always wanted to do.
Divy’s message to our readers
WeCP is a futuristic venture that promises a bright sunrise for its team as well as its customers. The team’s aspirations, diligence, and determination to excel are exemplary. These sharp intellectuals steer the ship quite efficiently, and I am falling short of words as I foresee its bright future.

Every beginning initiates with baby steps to take up giant leaps. Likewise, our journey should begin from a startup that gives a plethora of opportunities to be a part of the planning as well as execution process. One learns the pros and cons of every task accomplished. The interns also get challenging tasks to work on. Innovative ideas are always welcome, and accomplishments are always acknowledged. It is a complete package of “Work with Satisfaction.”
For Divy, the best thing about being a developer is coming up with innovative solutions to problems and the potential to learn something new every day.
