3. Skills in conducting static and dynamic application security testing (SAST and DAST) using IBM Security AppScan to identify vulnerabilities and security weaknesses in web applications, APIs, and microservices.

7. Familiarity with advanced scanning techniques and configurations in IBM Security AppScan, including incremental scans, incremental discovery, custom scan configurations, and API integration for automated testing.
8. Skills in interpreting scan logs, HTTP requests, responses, and attack payloads generated during security scans to understand attack patterns, exploit vectors, and potential security vulnerabilities in web applications.
9. Experience in collaborating with development teams, security engineers, and stakeholders to prioritize, track, and remediate security findings identified during AppScan scans and integrate security testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
10. Aptitude for configuring and customizing IBM Security AppScan scripts, macros, authentication scripts, and scan policies to simulate real-world attack scenarios and perform comprehensive security assessments of web applications.
11. Ability to analyze complex web application architectures, frameworks, and technologies (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, single-page applications) to ensure accurate and thorough security testing coverage with IBM Security AppScan.
12. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for identifying security issues, root causes, and remediation strategies, and effectively communicating findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
13. Proficiency in using additional features and modules of IBM Security AppScan, such as mobile application security testing (MAST), API security testing, source code scanning, and container security scanning, as applicable to the organization's security requirements.
